How do you set a house alarm before leaving?
There are two ways to arm your system, by using the App or by using the Alarm Keypad.
To arm your system using the app:
- Ensure the place is locked then Open your app
- You will see the icons you’ll note on your keypad.
- Tap the Arm mode.
- Put your code
- The system is armed
To arm your system using the keypad:
- Ensure all areas are locked
- Enter your user code on the keypad
- Press the Arm button.
When you have armed your system will begin a timed countdown before arming itself. This is called an “Exit Delay,” and it gives you time to leave your main exit door before the system arms itself. This system can be set to with a delay time ranging from 0 to 15 seconds.
